Kaleena

Kaleena Ladeairous – Owner & Trainer

Kaleena is an accomplished, results-oriented, NASM certified personal trainer with over 8 years of training experience. Her passion for fitness started as a college student at Stony Brook University in New York when she became a personal trainer and manager at the University’s fitness center.

Upon graduating college, she started working at the YMCA in Rye, NY as the Fitness Coordinator and personal trainer.  Within two years she became the Fitness Center Director. In the summer of 2010, Kaleena was introduced to CrossFit and quickly became addicted.  After her first stint at Fight Gone Bad, she had her “aha” moment, this was the philosophy she was missing in her training and her own workouts.

She adored the concept of workouts aimed for time or task and a chance to beat other athletes. Exercise was no longer just about being fit and healthy it became training with a purpose, she became a CrossFit athlete.  Kaleena then started her education with CrossFit and received her CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certificate.

Combined with her passion for fitness, her clients have truly benefited in the experience and knowledge she has gained through the CrossFit philosophy. Picture Courtesy of CrossFit, Inc.

Maria

Maria Vulcano – Owner & Trainer

Maria is a highly skilled professional with over 13 years of extensive experience in health, athletic and sports environments.  As a high school and collegiate athlete, Maria’s love for sports and fitness was always a top priority.  Determined to pass her passion of sports on a younger generation, Maria received her Masters in Science in Physical Education from Hofstra University in New York.

As the sole high school Athletic Director and Physical Education instructor for all grades and the 9th grade Health teacher for over 10 years at the Notre Dame High School in NYC, Maria continues to motivate and guide young athletes. She designed and implemented the athletic curriculum and developed a student summer enrichment program of fitness and health. Maria also currently coaches the Varsity Volleyball, Basketball and Softball teams.

Although Maria’s fitness passion rang through her blood, her workouts decreased throughout the years once the adrenalin of collegiate games was gone and adult responsibilities stepped in.  She was introduced to CrossFit in the fall of 2009 just as she was realizing her weight was increasing and her fitness level was decreasing.

Her first workout with CrossFit stays ingrained in her memory as she witnessed the hard bodies start their WOD of 3,2,1 GO!  Never backing down from a challenge, CrossFit became Maria’s newest passion and the adrenalin was back!  Realizing CrossFit’s philosophy would benefit not only her but also her students, she decided to start her education in CrossFit and received her CrossFit Level 1 Certificate.  She has since designed and implemented CrossFit training programs for her high school’s Varsity Volleyball, Basketball and Softball teams.

Jamie

Jamie Kuebler – Trainer

As a high school and collegiate athlete, fitness was always an integral part of Jamie’s life.  He played rugby throughout college, but upon graduating quickly found that he was missing the camaraderie and training intensity associated with the sport.  A former teammate introduced him to CrossFit, and Jamie has been hooked ever since.  He craves the constantly varying physical and mental challenges CrossFit presents each day, and the indescribable bond and respect developed and shared amongst its participants.  Not to mention, he is convinced that the Crossfit philosophy to training has placed him in the greatest shape of his life.  Jamie is now a Certified Level 1 CrossFit Trainer and placed 21st in the 2011 Northeast Regional competition.

Bobby

Bobby Vizzari

Bobby Vizzari – Trainer

Bobby’s passion for athletics began at a very young age and continued throughout his adult life. During high school, he played football, ran track & field and participated in recreational football on weekends, but after taking a year off from all sports, he knew something was missing. He happened upon pictures showing a friend’s total body transformation and told himself he would try whatever it was she was doing…it was CrossFit. Bobby attended his first class at CrossFit Port Chester in May 2012 and became hooked his first day. He went on to become certified as a Level 1 Trainer in December 2012 and has also been involved in many local competitions, such as Battle of the Boxes and even a Strong Man Competition at the local CrossFit Harrison, where he tied for second place. His love for competition and the camaraderie that is so evident in Crossfitters is what keeps Bobby always coming back for more. He loves every class he is involved in, whether wodding or coaching.

 Joe V

Joe V - Trainer

Joe Vieira – Trainer

Joe V has been involved in sports his entire life. He excelled as a high school wrestler until a serious knee injury ended his athletic career, so he thought. The first time he walked into a “box,” he saw everyone working hard, side by side, cheering each other on. It reminded him of his days in the wrestling room and he was instantly hooked. Seeing the positive effects CrossFit had on him, both physically and mentally, he became a firm believer in the CrossFit philosophy. Becoming a Certified Level 1 CrossFit trainer only solidified his beliefs and increased his passion. He credits CrossFit for being in the best shape of his life.
